Accomplished at the Activity:
* We worked around Granite Falls in various ways. We cleaned up the park pulling weeds, picking up trash, ect. We worked in the Food Bank organizing, re-shelving, and cleaning the food bank inside and out. We cut down trees and shrubs around the food bank. We collected food to donate to the food bank from IGA customers.
Still need to do:
* Write in your journal the reactions of the people you served and possible goals for future service opportunities

* We talked about how being organized can help simplify our lives and keep our minds and lives on track to accomplish whatever we set as our goals
* We made Personal Progress clipboards to hang in our bedrooms so we can keep track of what goals we are working on and what we still have to do in our Personal Progress

* Set goals for yourself for a timeline of finishing up your Young Woman's Personal Progress and work toward that goal.

Integrity #1 - Preparing for the Temple

* We learned how to sew and make drawstring bags to take to the temple with us when we go.

* Read For the Strength of Youth and reflect how the Lord's standards differ from the world's standards
* Read Moroni 10:30-33 and think about what it means to "deny yourself of all ungodilness
* Record in your journal appropriate standards for behavior, dress, movies, TV, Internet, conversation, literature, ect.
* Write a plan to stay morally clean and worthy to enter the temple
* keep your standards for at least one month, then record your feelings in your journal and continue to keep your commitment

* We learned about the importance of patriarchal blessing from Patriarch Kelley
* We found out why they are given and who can give them
* We talked about how we can prepare to receive it and how the patriarch prepares himself to give it
* We learned that you aren't called to be a patriarch but are elected, so you are never released from it until you die
Still need to do:
* nothing really - learning about them straight from the stake patriarch was very informative!
* prepare yourself to receive your own blessing if you have not yet received it.

* We talked about how a sculpture has to envision his/her masterpiece before beginning; to plan what the end product will look like. We talked about Michelangelo and his art works and how he felt like he was simply freeing them from the stone
* We talked about how we all have freedom of choice and what a blessing agency is in our lives.
* We chose what we wanted to sculpt from the ice cream block and then did it.

Divine Nature #2

Accomplished at the Activity:
* We discussed what some Divine Qualities we were given from our Heavenly Father and what it meant to have divine qualities.
* We each came up with a divine quality that we could possess and played the game 3 rounds (although we stretched it out to be 4 rounds!)
* We described each divine quality and acted out each divine quality for our teams to identity
* We enjoyed some blue dipped Divine Nature pretzels as a refreshment
Still need to do:
* Read Proverbs 31:10-31
* read two conference talks on womanhood
*Review what the Family: A Proclamation to the World has to say about being a mother and wife
* Ask your mother or another mother you admire what she thinks are important attributes of being a mother and list in your journal
* Choose one of those attributes you want to have and for two weeks try to develop it.
* After two weeks report your success to a parent or leader

Accomplished at the Activity:
* We read the scriptures from Divine Nature #1 and read The Family: A Proclamation to the World and discussed them as a group.
* We looked up the definition for 'peacemaker' and read 5 scriptures about it
* We wrote in our journal how we can develop divine qualities
* We picked a family member who we want to work on our relationship with for two weeks and determined to do so by looking for positive in them, refraining from rudeness and mean comments, praying for them, being extra kind to them, helping them, and showing love to them.
Still need to do:
* Pray each morning for inspiration on how to be a peacemaker in your home and how to strengthen our relationship with our family member
* Keep a chart for two weeks to remind you to be a peacemaker in your home and of you making a special effort to strengthen you relationship with a family member
*After two weeks write in your journal what new habits you want to develop, how being a peacemaker is part of your divine nature, and how you will continue to a peacemaker
* Share your experiences and the divine qualities you've discovered with that family member or with a parent or leader.

* We chose a happy statement from those hung around the room to bring home and display in our own rooms to help remind us to add to the peace in our homes by choosing to be happy.
